Sompo International has announced the appointment of Nicolas Berg as CEO of Sompo UK Insurance business.

Nicolas Berg has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Sompo, he served at SCOR Group as CEO of SCOR US and Head of P&C North America. In his new role, Nicolas Berg will be based in London and report to Alessa Quane, CEO of International Markets.

The appointment will take effect on 1 October 2026.
