US healthcare insurer Humana has reached an agreement to offload all or nearly all of its minority stake in hospice and palliative care provider Gentiva to a consortium of investors. The stake is valued at roughly $900 million.

Pending regulatory clearances and customary closing conditions, the transaction is set to be completed in the third quarter of 2026. Gentiva runs over 430 facilities across 35 US states, delivering care services for critically ill patients.
