Canopius Group has announced the appointment of Greg Kuchinski as its US Chief Underwriter.

Greg Kuchinski boasts extensive industry experience spanning the US property insurance and specialty lines insurance markets. Prior to joining Canopius, he served as Chief Underwriter for North America Property at AIG. During his tenure at AIG, he also held successive leadership roles overseeing multiple business divisions including retail property, high-limit underwriting, energy, and engineering risks. Based in New York in his new capacity, Greg Kuchinski will report jointly to Sam Harrison, Global Chief Underwriter of the Group, and Nadine Moore, Chief Executive Officer for the US, and will join the US Executive Committee.

This appointment will take effect officially on September 9, 2026.
