UnitedHealthcare announced the appointment of Bobby Hunter as its President. Bobby Hunter will accelerate UnitedHealthcare’s modernization drive to build a system enabling seamless collaboration between insurance plans and healthcare providers.

Bobby Hunter joined UnitedHealth Group in 2011. He began his career in corporate development before moving to the Medicare business line. He previously served as CFO for individual Medicare Advantage and Senior Vice President of Medicare Advantage Product and Experience. In 2024, Hunter was promoted to President of the company’s Medicare business, and later took on the role of CEO for the Medicare and Retirement segment. He was appointed CEO of Government Programs in July 2025.
