Nationwide has officially announced the appointment of Tonya Courtney as Head of its newly established Excess and Surplus (E&S) Brokerage Property Unit.

Ms. Courtney brings more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. property insurance industry. She began her career at The Hartford and later spent over 11 years at Chubb. She joined Nationwide in 2024, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of E&S Brokerage Property. In her new role, Ms. Courtney will report to David Nelson, Executive Vice President, E&S Wholesale.
