AIG has announced the appointment of Adam Clifford as CEO of International Commercial Insurance.

Based in London, Clifford most recently served as Head of International at Everest Insurance. Prior to joining Everest in 2022, he spent nearly 8 years at Chubb, holding senior leadership roles including Head of Casualty for Asia Pacific, Country President of Singapore, Divisional President for Continental Europe, Middle East and North Africa, and Managing Director of Chubb European Group SE. In his new role, he will report to Jon Hancock, the group’s CEO of General Insurance.

This appointment is effective January 5, 2026.
